Autumn Elopement / Taylor + Maleah / Golden Hour / Blue Ridge Parkway, NC

Taylor + Maleah wed exactly 10 years from the day they started dating in high school.

At the Glassmine Falls Overlook, they read hand written vows as their chosen family attempted (but clearly not very hard) to hold back tears. Two very excited, and somewhat behaved, poodles had the honor of bearing the rings, and their friend, Sam, offered up a lovely ukulele serenade.

Promises and kisses were passionately exchanged, then as the sun lowered westward, they slow danced to Elvis, and gleefully shared wedding cake. It was delightful.

We all made a short trip down the Parkway to Craggy Gardens, where Taylor slipped from heels to sandals, and Maleah rocked bare feet the entire hike! At the top, the sky turned from gold to pink to lavender, and it was so glorious and peaceful, and these two humans so clearly in love, I’m fairly certain I floated back down the trail.
