Brooke + Keith married on their deck in West Asheville, with only their best beloveds to witness and celebrate.
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, gratitude abound. It was truly an honor to be there.
After the ceremony we zoomed over to the Vanderbilt’s backyard for a gorgeous sunset and moonrise! (note - the Biltmore is particular about this, but luckily Brooke works there) Then the joyful couple returned home to their welcoming family, awaiting with a Thanksgiving feast!!
It hadn’t occurred to me until then, but Thanksgiving is kind of the perfect holiday to have a wedding. . . food, family, love, and gratitude. And here in the mountains of North Carolina, the last little glorious pop of Autumn leaves. The way these two looked into each others eyes all evening left me hopeful that true love is alive and well.
