Yes, the year was all kinds of awful. Also, and partly because of it, I fell back in love with photography, and felt more inspired than I have in years.
I am so grateful to each person, bird, leaf, and sunbeam that showed up to remind me that there is still beauty to be found most anywhere. These are not necessarily the photos with the most ‘likes’ on social media. These are my personal favorites, for personal reasons.
